1. Money Packet
Money packets consisted of mailable matter containing valuables such as bank notes, gold bullion, jewels, stocks. The rate included a registration fee.

From April 1, 1964, the rate was 2 cents for the first two ounces and 1 cent for each additional ounce.

$1.60 paying for 80 pieces of mail to be delivered at the General Delivery and Boxholders.
3. Federal Election Ballot Box : Registered Parcel
Ballot boxes sent prior to a Federal election by Returning Officers addressed to Deputy Returning Officers were liable to postage at the parcel rate and registration fee.

South America
The air mail letter rate to South America was 10 cents for each 1/2 ounce.
Jordan
The air mail letter rate to Asia, Africa and Oceania was 25 cents for each 1/2 ounce. The two-ounce airmail, registered letter shown below was sent from Montreal to Bir Zeit Jordan on April 5, 1966.

The design below, by Alan Pollock, featuring a hook in front of a crate was used to manufacture a die from which colour trials were printed.

The shadow effect of the hook was not well captured by the engraving process making it look as if there were two hooks, one behind the other. The design was not adopted.
