Interrupted Mail : 1959 Train Fire

In late December 1959, a fire on board the eastbound train from Winnipeg damaged mail that was being transported. H.H. Yorta, Director of Postal Service, Winnipeg, provided an explanatory note regarding the fire to addressees of damaged correspondence.
